On unramified coverings of maximal curves

We investigate unramified coverings of algebraic curves over finite fields, specially when both curves are maximal curves ( maximal curves are curves attaining the so-called Hasse-Weil upper bound ).The curves considered in the examples are subcovers of the Hermitian curve.
